WHAT
WE DO
Bringing thought leaders together to foster a real movement towards peace.
OUR GOALS AND VALUES
Since 2015, Interfaith Partners for Peace has built a network of Christian and Jewish clergy from throughout North America who share a commitment to supporting peace and reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis. Our goal is to enhance interfaith dialogue between our clergy pairs, so that Jews and Christians in the United States and Canada can support co-existence work and build a third narrative — one that exists between the extremes that often dominate discourse on the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis. The pairs sign on to a statement that commits them to pursue local interfaith efforts to promote coexistence and support the work of NGOs that bring Palestinians and Israelis together. Our partner pairs agree to study together, to deepen their relationships through shared travel to the region, and to report back to their communities and denominations.
OUR STATEMENT
IP4P asks participating pairs to sign a statement affirming our core values and
committing to promoting civil discourse on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We welcome a wide range of perspectives and questions, but our statement stresses the importance of open dialogue and engagement in shared work towards coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians.
